Center for Puppetry Arts
Watch a live performance, participate in a hands-on workshop, or learn about the history of puppetry. Kermit and Miss Piggy are waiting in the lobby for you.
Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Who doesn't love dinosaurs? Visit the permanent collection to see the largest one that ever walked the Earth, learn about the history of the great state of Georgia, and catch a movie in the IMAX theatre.
Fernbank Science Center
Show your little ones how scientific concepts come to life, visit the planetarium to learn about the stars, and don't miss the butterfly garden.
Georgia Aquarium
With more than 60 exhibits featuring creatures from around the planet, this is one of the largest aquariums in the world. Visit the petting tanks to touch manta rays and sea urchins, watch a whale shark feeding, and see a dolphin show. You'll be begging the kids to let you go again.
Little Shop of Stories
Located in Decatur, this is the only bookstore that children bring their adults to. Find titles for your child, or for the child-at-heart, join a book group, or get involved with their community reading program.
Old Fourth Ward Park
Beginning at Ponce City Market, this park extends south of Freedom parkway and is conveniently located on our beloved BeltLine. When it gets hot, grab the swimsuits and head to the splash pad.
The Children's Museum of Atlanta
This museum is all about letting kids explore the world and be inspired by it through the power of play. Exhibits and programs are designed for interaction, so it's ok for the kids to touch, well, pretty much everything.
Seed Factory
From toys and books to high chairs and cribs to clothing and accessories, Seed Factory has the perfect product to outfit the little ones in your life.
WhirlyBall Atlanta
In this five-on-five game, you drive a bumper car and use a scoop to chuck a wiffle ball at a backboard. Bring your teens and tweens. While you're there, check out the new laser tag facility.
