Deliverability Engineer

MailChimp sends billions of emails every month for more than two million users around the world. That’s a lot of email. Our delivery team is looking for a hard worker with a strong background in delivery, analytics, and system administration. You’ll identify delivery trends, uncover root causes, talk with ISPs when necessary, and brainstorm solutions. Team-player skills are a must, as you’ll work with engineers, data scientists, and other delivery experts to build out and optimize MailChimp’s infrastructure.

Software Engineer

We're looking for a software engineer to help us build the MailChimp application. We don’t care about pedigree or what languages or stacks you’ve worked in. In fact, if you’d rather send us code than polish up your resumé, that works for us. You’ll work with our product development team to build new functionality into our product, and our customer service team to resolve issues as they arise. We'll expect you to be motivated and creative in your work.

We allow for flexible hours and some telecommute options, but you need to be in the Atlanta office on a regular basis. We'll help with relocation.

NOC Engineer

MailChimp is seeking NOC Engineers to join our team. You will monitor and maintain infrastructure that supports millions of users and sends billions of emails each month using top tier equipment and resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with other technical support staff, tier II engineers, and development and delivery teams
  • Supervise the functioning of network components and makes sure that they are active and problem free
  • Use software applications and hardware tools to detect, identify and solve problems
  • Receive and resolve problem complaints from users, external providers, and internal teams, escalating when appropriate
  • Maintain a record of the problems and methods used to solve them
  • Carry out inspections on regular basis on network and system performance
  • Serve in shifts and on call schedules to maintain a Cisco network environment running IOS, NX OS and IOS XR supporting HP Centos servers

Software Engineer Intern

We're looking for an intern to help the MailChimp development team. As an intern, you'll write code to help improve internal tooling, research lab projects and the mainline MailChimp product suite. You'll work directly with our team of engineers and gain real-world experience as a software engineer. You'll be allowed - even required - to be creative in your work. We push managers and meetings out of the way so you can concentrate on what you love to do.
