ShortStack today announced an integration with MailChimp, making it simple for MailChimp subscribers to publish their email campaigns in their entirety on their Facebook Pages. ShortStack is a comprehensive tool set designed to simplify the process of creating custom content and tab designs for Facebook Pages.
“Facebook is such an important platform for MailChimp subscribers,” commented Ben Chestnut, Co-founder and CEO of MailChimp. “We’re really happy to see this integration released. Now our subscribers can automatically publish their email campaigns to their Facebook Pages. An added bonus is the MailChimp signup plugin that can be easily customized inside the ShortStack application.”
ShortStack makes the process of creating attractive Facebook Pages easy for anyone. No coding experience is required. The application, which is built on the Facebook Platform, integrates with a number of services such as Yelp, Foursquare, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, and Google Maps. It also offers widgets for creating polls, displaying products, as well as viewing photo galleries and videos. The following Facebook Pages provide great examples of tabs that combine several elements from the ShortStack toolbox: Space Food Cafe’s “Welcome!” tab and Archie’s Famous Grill’s “Welcome” tab.
The ShortStack application is the third graduate of the MailChimp Integration Fund - a $1 million fund supporting the development of integrations with its platform. The Fund is now accepting applications from anyone interested in building an integration on the MailChimp platform. Possible categories for development range from sign-up modules to more complex data sharing. Development can also focus on increasing the utility of an existing integration or plugin. Interested parties should complete a short form online to begin the application process. Funds will be applied on a per-project basis and the amount of funds allocated to any one project will be determined based on the requirements of each specific project.
MailChimp supports more than 3 million subscribers worldwide, sending 3 billion emails per month. The MailChimp platform improves the user experience by providing seamless, yet powerful email marketing and publishing features that are easy and affordable enough for a small business to get started, but powerful enough for a large company looking for an enterprise level solution. MailChimp’s platform provides an open API used by more than 250,000 subscribers. MailChimp integrates with many third party applications including Facebook, Twitter, Eventbrite, SurveyGizmo, Salesforce, WordPress, Magento, Joomla, Drupal and Google Analytics. And best of all, prices start at free.
