MailChimp Announces Integration with SurveyMonkey
SurveyMonkey Customers Now Have the Ability to Send Surveys Through MailChimp with Personalized Messaging and Automated Follow-up.

MailChimp today announced its integration with SurveyMonkey, the leading provider of web-based survey solutions. This integration makes it easier for SurveyMonkey customers to send surveys, track respondents, and get in touch with those groups in a targeted, trackable manner. Teaming with MailChimp provides customers with a seamless path to distribute their questionnaires in a reliable, targeted, and attractive manner.
Now SurveyMonkey customers can click the “Distribute Your Survey with MailChimp” link when selecting how to distribute their surveys. This button will automatically take the customer to his or her MailChimp account, seamlessly passing along the relevant survey link and survey title. This information is then automatically included in the default SurveyMonkey template in the MailChimp template gallery. There are three SurveyMonkey templates to choose from: Customer Feedback, Product Review, and Reader’s Comments. MailChimp’s templates can be highly customized to best match the branding and specific needs of a survey campaign. MailChimp also supports personalization and dynamic content.
Once the survey has been distributed to a list hosted in MailChimp, the SurveyMonkey customer can track the actions taken by each respondent and send appropriate follow-up messages. For instance, the customer may want to thank all of the recipients who have successfully completed the survey with a follow-up email or coupon. It is also easy to send a follow-up to any recipients who started the survey but never finished or to those who never started the survey.
The completion status of the SurveyMonkey survey is displayed in the MailChimp campaign reports dashboard. From here SurveyMonkey customers can send out followup emails with a single click. More advanced respondents can take advantage of MailChimp’s autoresponders to automatically send out follow up emails based on a recipient’s completion status.
SurveyMonkey customers can also send a survey starting within the MailChimp application. When selecting a SurveyMonkey template, the customer will be asked to authenticate with SurveyMonkey and then all of the respondents open surveys will be displayed. Simply clicking on a survey will populate all of the required information into the MailChimp campaign enable it for distribution.
