STS overlays Amazon’s delivery engine for transactional emails with MailChimp features that help you track the performance of your campaigns. You get open and click tracking, visual reports, and hourly stats for the trailing six months. You can tag your campaigns and track the performance of different kinds of emails.

We even automate some of SES’s limitations. If you exceed your daily or hourly quota by a small amount, we’ll queue the message for you and try sending it later. If you send from an address you haven’t verified, we’ll queue the message and automatically send a verification request.

STS is totally free for paid MailChimp customers—you just pay Amazon’s delivery fees.
