# List subaccounts

POST https://mandrillapp.com/api/1.4/subaccounts/list
Content-Type: application/json

Get the list of subaccounts defined for the account, optionally filtered by a prefix. Returns up to a maximum of 1,000 subaccounts.

## Request

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects a SubaccountsListRequest.

- `key` (string, required) — A valid Mandrill API key
- `q` (string, optional) — An optional prefix to filter the subaccounts' ids and names

## Response

### 200

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

Invalid or missing API key.

- `status` (string, required) — Status of the response, typically "error"
- `code` (enum, required) — Numeric error code
  - Allowed values: `401`
- `name` (enum, required) — Machine-friendly error name
  - Allowed values: `Invalid_Key`
- `message` (string, required) — Human-readable error message

### 500 Internal Server Error

An unexpected internal server error occurred.

## Types

### SubaccountsSubaccount

Basic subaccount information returned by most operations (add, update, delete, pause, resume, list)

- `id` (string, required) — Unique identifier for the subaccount
- `created_at` (string, required) — Date and time the subaccount was created in UTC YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format
- `status` (enum, required) — Current sending status of the subaccount
  - Allowed values: `active`, `paused`
- `reputation` (integer, required) — Subaccount reputation on a scale from 0 to 100
- `sent_weekly` (integer, required) — Number of emails the subaccount has sent so far this week (weeks start on midnight Monday, UTC)
- `sent_monthly` (integer, required) — Number of emails the subaccount has sent so far this month (months start on midnight of the 1st, UTC)
- `sent_total` (integer, required) — Number of emails the subaccount has sent since it was created
- `name` (string, optional) — Optional display name for the subaccount
- `first_sent_at` (string, optional, nullable) — Date and time that the subaccount first sent as a UTC string in YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format
- `custom_quota` (integer, optional) — Optional manual hourly quota for the subaccount. Only present when explicitly set during creation/update
