Use Automation Flow Templates
Marketing automation flows are a powerful tool that helps you connect with and organize your contacts with automated workflows. We offer a number of flow templates that have triggers, branches, emails, text messages, and more to help you get started quickly.

Things to know
Here are some things to know before you begin this process.
- Depending on your plan, you may not have access to all marketing automation flow tools. To find out what features are included in each plan, check out our pricing page.
- If you haven’t worked with automation flows before, check out About Marketing Automation Flows.
- The default triggers, rules, and actions for flow templates can be edited at any time. To learn about the different ways to customize your automation flow, check out Edit a Marketing Automation Flow.
- Flow templates with e-commerce functionality require a connected store.
- Flow templates with SMS Marketing functionality require an approved SMS Marketing program.
Flow template filters and preview
There are plenty of flow templates to choose from including templates that welcome new email or SMS contacts, engage lost customers, and utilize your integrations.
To find a flow template that fits your marketing needs, filter by Channels, Topics, or Apps & Integrations. You can also use the Sort By drop-down to filter by Popular or Recently added flow templates.
To clear your filter selections, click Clear all.
Click on a flow template to learn more about it. The preview page shows the flow’s description, trigger, requirements, objective, and a visual of the flow.
Choose a flow template
When you choose a flow template, we’ll show you a visual preview of the flow along with what you’ll need to use it. After you choose your flow, you can customize it to meet your needs.
To choose a flow template, follow these steps.
- Click the Automations icon, then choose Flow templates.
- Click a flow template to open a preview of the flow.
- When you find the flow you want to work with, click Use this flow.
- Click the drop-down menu to choose an audience, then click Continue.
Depending on which flow template you choose, you may also need to choose your store and a product to configure your flow.

Now that you’ve chosen your flow template, edit the flow to suit your marketing needs. If you use Zapier, consider Event based flow templates. We also offer flows that use other third-party applications, like Eventbrite. When you’re ready, activate your flow!
