We are looking for a Designer to join the Brand & Marketing Design team at Mailchimp. As a Designer, Performance, you’ll be an essential design contributor helping to create high-performing creative assets that shape behaviors across Mailchimp’s paid and organic marketing channels and digital product contexts. 

Brand & Marketing Design is an in-house creative agency within the Customer Experience & Design department at Mailchimp. We sit alongside other design disciplines, including UX Design, Customer Experience and Design Operations. We work cross-functionally with just about every team including Marketing, Product, Culture and others, to deliver a unified customer experience that helps every communication touchpoint feel like Mailchimp. What you'll do here:

  • Build innovative design assets and solutions that continually improve marketing performance and user experience based on data
  • Work with Growth Creative team on continuous multivariate testing and rapidly apply design performance learnings to iterate and improve future designs
  • Help translate creative briefs into lower-funnel design assets needed to help meet business goals for Mailchimp’s multi-channel digital marketing
  • Work closely with copywriters, content creators, designers and teams to contribute to overall campaign development.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms, kick offs, and team meetings contributing to design optimization ideas and frameworks

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You have at least 4+ years proven marketing, UX, and/or performance design experience
  • Your online portfolio demonstrating relevant design skills
  • You have an expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
  • You are able to master, interpret and champion our brand identity guidelines, always with an eye for detail
  • You are a design problem solver who can work at speed
  • You have an understanding of social media channels, best practices and their marketing tools
  • Experience in Figma is a plus
  • You must be a diligent self starter and strong team player
  • You embrace constructive direction
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

The target base salary for this role is (min) to (mid). Base salary will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications.

The salary range for this role in Colorado is $128,000 to $______ and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range will vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. This position may also be eligible for an annual company performance based-bonus and/or a quarterly performance bonus. Mailchimp complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
