MailChimp today announced an integration with Wix.com, a popular do-it-yourself web-development platform. Now, any of the more than 39 million people who use Wix can add a MailChimp email signup form to their website and sync those subscribers with their MailChimp account using the free integration.
Known for its ease of use, Wix allows anyone to build a professional website, no design or coding skills required. Sites built with Wix are powered by HTML5, SEO friendly, mobile ready and include hosting. Any individual can use Wix to launch their personal site, and small businesses can easily manage their online presence and eCommerce needs.
“When a business is just getting started, the first things they need are a website and an email list,” said Amy Ellis, Head of Integrations and Partnerships at MailChimp. “I’m excited that our integration with Wix makes it even easier for that business to get up and running and start building their list of subscribers.”
The MailChimp integration is live in the Wix App Market today. Wix users need only to add the MailChimp App and authorize a connection with their MailChimp account to get started. Users can select which pages of their site the signup form will appear on, add the data fields they want to capture and customize the look and feel of the form to match their Wix design. New subscribers are automatically added to the user’s MailChimp list.
MailChimp supports more than 4 million subscribers worldwide, sending 5 billion messages per month. MailChimp is designed for the do-it-yourself power user - someone looking for all of the power of an enterprise application, but built for anyone to use. MailChimp integrates with many third party applications including Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite, Pinterest, Instagram, SurveyMonkey, Eventbrite, Etsy, Salesforce, Wordpress, Magento, Joomla, Drupal and Google Analytics. And best of all, prices start at free. For more information, visit MailChimp.com.
