Enhanced Online News – MailChimp is now sending over 10 billion emails per month. This number includes the email service provider’s flagship MailChimp product, as well as Mandrill, its transactional email product, and TinyLetter, its personal email newsletter product. With over 10,000 new users signing up per day, Atlanta-based MailChimp is scaling up staff and moving into a larger facility in early 2015.
“We’re now averaging ten new hires per month,” said MailChimp’s Human Resources Director Marti Wolf. “To help us scale and to better serve our international customers, we’re staffing our support desks for twenty-four hour a day coverage. And we’ve had to find bigger office space to accommodate our continuing growth.”
The new MailChimp headquarters will be located in Atlanta’s historic Ponce City Market, and will occupy 115,600 square feet of the building’s 4th and 5th floors.
MailChimp’s integration partnership program has also grown, adding over 100 new partners in 2014 and bringing the total number up to 510. Integrations include e-commerce and publishing platforms, customer service solutions, and CRMs.
“We’ve had a lot of success with our integration partners and really appreciate the value they add for our customers,” said Amy Ellis, MailChimp’s Head of Integrations. “We continue to add new integrations so that no matter what product or service a MailChimp customer uses, they can connect their MailChimp account and get the data they need.”
MailChimp is currently hiring for its data science, customer support, technical, and design teams. To apply, check out the MailChimp job board.
