Automatically segment customers into Mailchimp email lists with SamCart's Integration Engine. SamCart's Integration Engine allows you to automatically add or remove your customers into the email list of your choice, freeing up time for you to focus on driving more traffic to your SamCart pages through email marketing!

With Mailchimp you can create your own rule when a customer runs into any of these Trigger Events in SamCart:

  • Product Purchased
  • Product Refunded
  • Product Partially Refunded
  • Prospect Created (i.e. Cart Abandonment)
  • Subscription Canceled
  • Subscription Charged
  • Subscription Delinquent
  • Subscription Recovered
  • Subscription Restarted

The rules that are set up following these triggers can either be done on the Product or Global Level.

SamCart allows users to set up "product level rules" so when a product is purchased in SamCart, you can add (or remove - if 'product refunded') users to a list in Mailchimp - freeing up time to focus on driving more traffic to SamCart pages

After you've selected "Product Purchased" (1) as the trigger, choose an Action (2) you'd like the integration to perform -- i.e. "Add to List' to add all new customers for this Product to an Email List in Mailchimp. When you're done, click "Next Step" (3)

Lastly - choose where the Integration Engine will point your new customers. Example: We'll place all new customers for this Product in the "Test Mailchimp1" Email List, which was created in Mailchimp. Choose destination from drop-down menu & click "Submit"
