Create and Edit Your Directory Listing
After you become a Mailchimp & Co partner, you can create a listing in our Experts directory. With a directory listing, you can showcase your skills and specialties to Mailchimp customers, and begin to connect and work with prospective clients.
In this article you'll learn how to create and edit your directory listing.
Before you start
Here are some things to know before you start.
- You must be a Mailchimp & Co partner or higher to access the directory editor.
- Your listing URL can only be set once. Choose your URL carefully before publishing for the first time.
- After your listing is published, it may take a few minutes before it appears at your URL.
- Your listing may take 24 hours before it shows in search results.
- The directory listing editor doesn’t support markdown. Your text will display on your listing exactly as it’s entered into the editor.
Create your listing
To create or edit your company listing, follow these steps.
- Click Mailchimp & Co.
- Click Directory editor and start in the Build your listing tab.
- In the Add your basic details section, add your Business name and Profile URL. Keep in mind that you can only customize your profile URL once.
- Next, Briefly describe your services and provide your Website URL. You also have the option of providing your Location and supported Languages.
- Upload a PNG, JPEG, or GIF file of your headshot or company logo. We recommend square-shaped logos for profiles. Headshots and team photos generate the most interest.
- In the Describe how you help clients section, add a more detailed description of your services and any images or videos of your work.
- In the Choose your search filters section, you can apply tags to your listing that will help your profile appear when clients search the directory. Tag by specialty, supported countries, and supported languages.
- Acknowledge the Directory Listing Terms and click Publish My Listing.
That’s all it takes! After you publish your listing, it will be live and available at the URL you provided.
Note
Your profile may take a few minutes to publish and around 24 hours before it appears in search results.
Change profile settings
Profile settings allow you to set your availability for accepting new client briefs and include client testimonials in your listing.
Set your availability
Once your directory listing is published, you’ll be able to display your availability in the directory and on your profile. . By default, your profile will show that you’re accepting new client briefs.
To change your availability status, follow these steps.
- Click Mailchimp & Co.
- Click Directory editor and click the Profile settings tab.
- Click the radio button next to the availability status you want to display on your listing.
Add a client testimonial to your listing
After a completed job, you can request a testimonial from your client and add it to your listing to help future clients learn about the work you do.
To add a client testimonial to your listing, follow these steps.
- Click Mailchimp & Co.
- Click Directory editor and click the Profile settings tab.

- Toggle the slider next to the testimonial(s) you want to add.
Well done! The client testimonial will immediately display on your listing.
Note
- You cannot edit a client’s testimonial before publishing.
- If your client requests to have their testimonial removed, we ask that you remove it from your listing and any other place it's posted.
