About Australia's GST
As of July 2017, the Australian government will begin charging GST on international sales of digital products and services. This tax may apply to your MailChimp account.
To make sure we have the right information on file for you, please update your GST registration information in the Billing information section of your account.
Add or Edit Your Australian Business Number (ABN)
We will not collect GST with your payments if you have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and your business is GST registered. If you have an ABN for your business, please add it to your account to ensure your tax information is accurate.
To add or edit your ABN and GST registration information, follow these steps.
- Click your profile name and choose Account.
- Click the Billing drop-down menu and choose Billing information.
- Click Edit contact info
- Use the provided buttons to let us know if you have GST registration.
- If you have an ABN, type it in the field.
- Click Save.
