How it works
Mailchimp’s website builder feature is free and available to all users, so you can start to build your business or brand from day one.
Create as many web pages as you need for your website and use our mailchimpsites.com domain to publish them at no extra cost. If you want to use a different domain, you can purchase one in Mailchimp or connect one from another service.
In this section, we'll go over the tools you have to build and manage your website.
About the website dashboard
Our website dashboard gives you an overview of all of your individual web pages. Here, you can change your website's domain and update tracking settings to collect information about site visitors. You can also access a report on your website's performance and the website builder. If you no longer want a website in Mailchimp, you can delete it from the dashboard.
About the website builder
The website builder lets you quickly style, edit, and add additional pages to your website as needed. Use the placeholder text and images we provide in your page layouts to help guide your design. Add or remove different sections to achieve the right look for each web page.
If you want to choose your website's colors and fonts, visit the Styles menu. You can select from the palettes we've designed to look good on your website, or create a custom set of colors on your own. Choose between curated font pairings that support the look and feel of your business.
By accessing the Pages menu you can create new web pages. They will be linked in your website's navigation bar by default, but you can choose to hide them if you want. You can add links to other websites, like Facebook or Instagram, to your navigation bar too.
If you want to rearrange the pages and links in your website's navigation bar, you can drag them into the order you like. After you create a page, you can edit it's URL, SEO and social sharing settings.
