Connect Salesforce with MailChimp to easily share data and streamline communications, so you can better engage your customer base. MailChimp offers two tools to connect your Salesforce and MailChimp accounts: our built-in integration and the MailChimp for Salesforce app.

MailChimp's Built-In Integration
To manage subscriber data between MailChimp and Salesforce, you can connect our built-in integration from the Integrations page of your MailChimp account. Use it to import Salesforce contacts to your MailChimp list, and push subscriber activity back to the Notes and Attachments section of a Salesforce contact page. The integration will also update campaign statistics in Salesforce after a MailChimp campaign has been sent.
The built-in integration doesn't allow you to choose or limit the number of contacts you import into MailChimp, and can't import leads from Salesforce to MailChimp. If you need these features, try the MailChimp for Salesforce app.

MailChimp for Salesforce
The MailChimp for Salesforce app offers a combination of features to help you target your leads and contacts, and sync data between MailChimp and Salesforce.
Build queries to add Salesforce leads, contacts, person accounts, and campaign members to a MailChimp list based on specific Salesforce field data. The Query Builder can also add list members to MailChimp groups and segments that you can target with specialized content.
Manually run queries will add new contacts to your MailChimp list, but won't update existing contact information. To automatically update contact information, turn on data sync.
Turn on data sync to automatically add leads and contacts as MailChimp subscribers when they meet your query criteria, and to update existing subscribers' list field information when their corresponding contact or lead field is updated in Salesforce.
The lead creation option allows you to create Salesforce leads from your newest MailChimp subscribers when data sync is enabled. Only subscribers added to your list after lead creation is enabled will be added as leads in Salesforce.
