The Swym Back-in-Stock Alerts integration enables Shopify stores to add a "Notify me" capability to their site - shoppers that visit an out-of-stock product page can sign up to be automatically notified via email when that item is restocked by the merchant. In addition to providing the ability to send these automatic alerts via Mandrill, this integration also enables the merchant to provide those end-users signing up for alerts to also opt-into their marketing email lists. The merchant can configure rules on how the alerts need to be dispatched (when, how many etc.) as well as configure the look-and-feel of the emails via a rich template editor. The merchant can choose to send the emails via Swym, or optionally via Mandrill if that's already enabled for their Mailchimp account. The integration also includes rich engagement metrics on the module, including data on which products are getting the most notification requests, which users are requesting them, what emails were sent, how those emails performed etc.
