About the Email Dashboard
If tracking is enabled in your email campaigns, we'll collect and analyze data on clicks, opens, social activity, purchases, and other interactions after you send your campaign. The Email dashboard displays data from all campaigns sent in a selected time span. Viewing multiple campaigns at once can help you identify patterns in subscriber engagement, and help you improve and target your campaign content.

Things to know
Here are some things you should know about the email dashboard.
- This feature is available for users with a Mailchimp Standard plan or higher. For more information about what features are included with each plan, check out our pricing page.
- Open and click tracking must be turned on in an email campaign for those statistics to populate in a report.
- The report date range is based on your account’s local timezone.
- The email dashboard may take a few hours to update after sending an email campaign.
View the email dashboard
To view the dashboard for a range of email campaigns, follow these steps.
- Click Analytics, then click Email.
- Click the Audience drop-down menu and choose the audience you want to use for your report.
- Click the Date range drop-down to specify a time frame.
- Click Date range from the second drop-down menu to select a time frame.
Use the calendar icons to choose a custom date range. - Click Apply.

About your email dashboard
After you’ve selected your audience and date range, you’ll see a comparison of metrics in the Performance section, a graph of 2 metrics in the Engagement section, and a table of campaigns in the Sent section.
Performance
The Performance section gives you an overview of campaign statistics. All statistics include a percentage that shows the difference in data compared to the previous date range.
To customize the Performance section, follow these steps.
Click the Compare to: drop-down menu to choose between a related date range or audience averages.
Click the Edit link to choose the metrics.
You can choose any of these metrics:
Emails sent
The number of emails that were sent.Open rate
Percentage of total recipients (successful deliveries) who opened the email campaign.Click rate
Percentage of delivered emails that registered at least one click.Unsubscribe rate
Percentage of recipients who opened your email campaign and unsubscribed.Opened
The number of recipients who opened the email campaign.Total opens
The number of times an email was opened.Clicked
The number of recipients who clicked any tracked link.Unsubscribed
The number of recipients who unsubscribed from an email campaign.Clicks per unique opens
Percentage of recipients who opened your email campaign and then clicked a link.Revenue (not available for the graph)
The dollar amount you've made on an order after it's placed, minus taxes and shipping fees.Orders (not available for the graph)
The total number of orders placed. This total doesn't exclude refunded or canceled orders.Average order revenue (not available for the graph)
The average dollar amount of revenue generated from each order, minus taxes and shipping fees.
Engagement
The Engagement section creates a graph of 2 different metrics from the aggregate campaigns. Use the Metric drop-down menus to select which metrics will be graphed. Click Export as CSV to download the combined statistics of all the campaigns in the date range.
Sent
The Sent section lists all the campaigns in the selected date range as well as recipient count, open rate, and click rate. Click on a campaign listing to see the report for that campaign. Click Export as CSV to download a report which lists each campaign along with its subject line, send date, send weekday and other campaign statistics.
