About the Marketing Dashboard
The marketing dashboard provides a holistic view of your marketing performance by summarizing metrics across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and automations. By analyzing data on clicks, purchases, and other interactions, you can optimize your marketing strategy, discover ideas for future messaging, and take action to correct negative trends.
In this article, you’ll learn how the marketing dashboard works and what information it includes.
Things to know
Here are some things to know.
- This feature is included with the Standard plan or higher.
- You must turn on open tracking and click tracking for email and track links for SMS to generate report information.
- Bot activity is automatically excluded from your reports for more accurate open and click metrics. To learn more about these settings, check out About Bot Activity and Bot Filtering.
- The marketing dashboard may take a few hours to update after you send an email or SMS.

View performance metrics
The marketing dashboard displays unique metrics based on your account usage and connected channels. You can view data for individual channels or a combined view of all marketing activity.
These are the different components of the marketing dashboard.
- Marketing conversions
If you have a connected store, this section tracks how campaigns convert to sales with metrics such as revenue, orders, and order rate. - Marketing engagement
This section displays key campaign metrics such as total sends, open rate, and click rate. - Marketing funnel
This section tracks how your campaign sends “convert” into actions such as opens, clicks, and orders. - Delivery performance
This section displays the health of your audience through metrics such as bounces, unsubscribe rate, and delivery rate.
To explore further, click through the different components to see additional data available for your account. For example, click an individual metric in the marketing engagement section to display a charted visual of that specific metric. You can then choose to display that data by campaign, day, week, or month.
