In this article, you'll learn how to connect and disconnect Mailchimp for Google Lead Ads.
Before you start
Here are some things to know before you begin this process.
- You’ll need a Google Business account with at least one lead ad form connected to it to use this integration.
- You’ll need to decide how the integration syncs your leads. Check out About Your Contacts for more information about subscribed and non-subscribed contacts.
How it works
To begin, you'll sign in to your Google Business and Mailchimp accounts. Next, you'll choose the specific Google account, the lead ad form, and the Mailchimp audience you want to connect with. You'll also decide whether to sync your leads as subscribed or non-subscribed contacts. Lastly, you'll map the data fields from your Google lead ad form to the Mailchimp fields used in your audience.
Once your Google account is connected, any leads who fill out your lead form will be automatically added to your Mailchimp audience. Syncs happen regularly, usually about every 15 minutes.
