Ways to Earn Commissions with Mailchimp & Co

When you join Mailchimp & Co, you can earn money for helping your clients achieve their marketing goals. We'll compensate you every quarter that you refer a new Mailchimp customer who purchases a paid monthly plan. We'll also compensate you every quarter that you connect with an existing Mailchimp customer who upgrades from a free to a paid plan. We'll even compensate you for connecting with a customer who's already on a paid plan.

In this article, you’ll learn about the ways you can earn rewards with Mailchimp & Co.

Before you start

Here are some things to know before you start.

• Before you earn commission, you have to join Mailchimp & Co.
• To be eligible to earn commission, you must be actively connected to 2 or more customer accounts and sign in to each customer’s account regularly within the quarter the commissions are calculated. Each customer must be on a paid Mailchimp plan. To learn how to connect accounts, check out Connect Your Clients' Accounts.
• Before you can receive your commission, you have to connect your Payoneer account to Mailchimp.
• You must accept our additional terms and conditions.
• Only account Owners and Admins can view earning statements.

How it works

To start earning, you’ll need to register and add your banking details with the payment processor Payoneer. Earnings will automatically deposit to your bank account on a quarterly cadence. There is no minimum earning required to receive a commission.

To be eligible, you must also be connected to at least 2 paid Mailchimp customer accounts and sign in to each customer’s account regularly within the quarter the commissions are calculated.

There are two ways to earn commission with Mailchimp & Co:

• New Customer Referrals
  Earn commission when you refer new Mailchimp customers who purchase a paid monthly marketing plan and connect to the member’s Mailchimp & Co account via connected accounts within 30 days of sign up.
• Managed Customer Revenue
  Earn commission when you connect accounts with existing Mailchimp customers who upgrade from a free to paid monthly Mailchimp marketing plan, or are already on a paid monthly Mailchimp marketing plan.

All eligible members enrolled in our rewards program will earn 25% commission for New Customer Referrals and 5% commission for Managed Customer Revenue. The period of time you can earn commission on a connected account will vary based on your membership tier:

• Eligible members with at least 2 paid connected clients: max of 12 months
• Eligible partners: max of 24 months
• Eligible pro partners: max of 36 months

No referral link required

Eligible members will no longer need to use their Mailchimp referral link to receive commission on new customer referrals. If a member is eligible for financial rewards and is enrolled in the financial rewards program, they will automatically earn referral commission when a new Mailchimp customer signs up for a paid monthly marketing plan and connects to the member’s Mailchimp & Co account within 30 days of signing up for Mailchimp. Referral links have been removed from the Partner Center.

View rewards

On the rewards page of the Mailchimp & Co. dashboard, you can view your connected clients, their activated features, and your earnings percentage from each.

To view your current rewards, follow these steps.

1. Click the Mailchimp & Co icon.
2. Click Rewards.
   
3. Scroll to the table with your list of connected clients.

Well done! We’ll show you a list of your clients and the percentage you currently earn from them.

View earning statements

After you receive your quarterly earnings, you can view the statement directly in your account.

To view your quarterly earning statements, follow these steps.

1. Click the Mailchimp & Co icon.
2. Click Rewards.
   
3. Click See Statements.
4. Find the quarterly statement you want to see and click View full statement.

Great job! Your earning statement tells you exactly how much you’ve earned during the quarter.
