Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen an increase in Mailchimp activity from local governments, schools, healthcare providers, nonprofits, and other organizations that are sending critical public health information about COVID-19 to their communities. We want to support their efforts and know that cost can be a burden during these times.
Starting today, we’re offering free Standard Mailchimp accounts for these groups through at least June 30, 2020. Existing eligible customers on the Standard plan won’t be billed during this time. Eligible customers on our Free or Essentials plans will be upgraded to a Standard plan and won’t be billed through this date as well.

Mailchimp is offering this in addition to giving $10 million worth of service for existing customers who want to continue using Mailchimp’s platform but need some financial support during this period. As an additional response to the crisis, Mailchimp will invest up to $100M to help drive new and ongoing business for our small business customers through price discounts, product upgrades, add-ons, and more.
