Can I merge my Mailchimp and Intuit accounts?
There are no changes to how you sign up for or login to Mailchimp. You can continue using your existing login information for Mailchimp to sign into your Mailchimp account.

Privacy
What is Intuit’s approach to privacy?
Intuit believes that all persons have a right to privacy. When you work with Intuit, you get access to a platform of benefits powered by our innovative use of data that protects your privacy while powering your prosperity with Intuit. We work to create innovative ways to put your data to use while protecting your privacy.
What is the Intuit platform?
Here’s what we mean by “platform” – when you choose to share data with us, we use that data together, not just within the individual offering(s) you’re using. This means your bookkeeping details from QuickBooks, budgets from Mint, recommendations from Credit Karma, and (in the future) campaign details from Mailchimp all live together.
This goes for everything except your tax preparation data – that stays in TurboTax and never goes anywhere except to the IRS without you telling us it’s okay first. Keeping your data in one place enables us to save you time by putting the information to use - but only the information you choose to share with us. For example, if you ask us to, we can fill out a loan or credit card application for you based on what we already know about you.
Your centralized data provides a holistic understanding of your financial situation that enables us to help you find more money, save time, and have more confidence navigating your finances. We’re constantly striving to create personalized experiences that power your prosperity.
Does Intuit share data with third parties?
Apart from service providers acting on our behalf (who are contractually prohibited from using your data except to provide services to us), we will only share your data with third parties when you ask us to. There are certain instances when we are required to share your data with others in order to provide you with services or because we are required. For specifics on when we may be required to share your data, please see our Global Privacy Statement.
How does Intuit respond to government requests for information?
Neither Intuit or Mailchimp voluntarily provides government agencies or authorities (including law enforcement) with access to or information about user accounts. However, on occasion, we may receive compulsory requests from government authorities for access to or disclosure of information from user accounts. In order to demonstrate our commitment to privacy and our efforts to be as transparent as possible, Mailchimp publishes their annual Transparency Report to document the number and type of legal requests we receive. Mailchimp uses certain guidelines when responding to requests for information, whether from a government or non-government entity, and you may find more information in the report.
In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR, we may need to respond to a request to comply with our legal obligations or because we have a compelling legitimate interest to respond. In our capacity as a data processor (with respect to accounts that reasonably appear to belong to customers in the EU), we strive to provide prior notice of any compulsory requests to access data from such accounts, unless we are prohibited by law from doing so or we have a reasonable belief that urgent access is necessary to prevent an imminent risk of serious harm to any individual, public safety, or our property, sites,or services.
In addition, the Mailchimp Data Processing Addendum sets the circumstances where we act as a data processor on behalf of our customer and may be required to disclose information to third parties in response to government data access requests. Please see Annex D of the Data Processing Addendum for further information.
