Use Review Order Content Blocks in the New Builder
Use Review Order content blocks to seek out customer feedback on their most recent purchase. Each block will contain a product image, price, and review link that’s synced from your store. Review Order content blocks can display up to 5 products, and provide many styling components you can use to customize your content.
In this article, you’ll learn how to use Review Order content blocks in the new builder.
Before you start
Here are some things to know before you begin this process.
This feature is only available to someone with a Shopify store. Visit the Integrations page to see if you have a Shopify store connected to your account.
For more information on our email builders and the content block types in them, check out About Mailchimp’s Email Builders.
Use Review Order content blocks
To use a Review Order content block, follow these steps.
Click and drag a Review Order block into your layout.
We’ll pre-select your store based on the audience you select to receive the email campaign.
On the Content tab, use Number of products to choose between a single product or the full order. We’ll display up to 5 products if you select Full order.
Click the Display By drop-down menu to select the order in which the products will display. Choose Price (high to low), or Price (low to high), Name (A to Z), Name (Z to A).
Product details for a product will sync from your store. Toggle the checkmark sliders to include the product title and description from your connected store.
Enter the label for your button in the Button text field.
Use the Orientation tabs to choose whether to display the image above, to the left, or to the right of the text.
Click the Colors field to change the block's background color. You can also choose the Padding around the content block. Check the box to apply equal padding on all sides, or customize the padding for the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the content block.
Edit styles
After you insert your Review Order content block, you can edit the design to match your store's style and branding.
Click the Style tab, to change the font type, size, color, styles, alignment, and padding for the product title and description.
The Style tab also gives you editing tools for buttons in the block. Customize the button shape, size, alignment, colors, border, and padding.
Enable Dynamic Content
When designing an email, you can turn any content block into dynamic content that displays when recipients meet certain conditions. Adding dynamic content helps target different types of subscribed contacts at the same time with a single email.
Users with a Standard plan or higher will find Dynamic Content on the Content tab of the Review Order content block.
