    There are several advanced custom fields you can use, including:

    • Text: Contacts can type their responses here.
    • Number: Contacts can provide number-based responses, such as age or ID number.
    • Radio buttons: Contacts can choose one predefined option.
    • Check boxes: Contacts can choose one or more options.
    • Drop down: Contacts can select one answer from a predefined list.
    • Date: Contacts can provide a specific date.
    • Birthday: Contacts can specify their birthday in month/day or day/month format.
    • Address: Contacts can input their full address.
    • Zip code: Contacts can provide an international or U.S. zip code.
    • Phone: Contacts can provide a local or international phone number.

    When you connect your Shopify store to Mailchimp, you can easily add custom tags to organize your contacts and create segmented audiences. This way, you can ensure that your contacts receive content they actually want to see.

    Once you’re done tagging your contacts, you can view or filter your audience by tags. This will allow you to quickly find customer segments.
